The Philosophy of Preservation

An acquisition from Noir Blanc is an investment in heritage-quality hair. To ensure your texture retains its liquid obsidian glow (Noir Silk) or its organic undulation (Blanc Wave), we recommend the following professional rituals.

I. The Cleansing Ritual

• Detangle First: Always brush your texture thoroughly from ends to roots using a wide-tooth comb or a professional paddle brush before it makes contact with water.
• Temperature Control: Use lukewarm water only; extreme heat can strip the natural protein structure of raw Cambodian hair.
• The Formulation: Utilize sulfate-free, paraben-free, and professional-grade hydration shampoos.
• The Technique: Distribute the cleanser in a downward motion never bunch or scrub the hair together, as this can disturb the unidirectional cuticle alignment.

II. Hydration & Restoration

• Conditioning: Apply a rich, moisturizing conditioner from the mid-lengths to the ends. Avoid the attachment area (weft or lace) to prevent premature loosening.
• Deep Treatment: For the Blanc Wave texture, we recommend a deep-conditioning mask once every two weeks to maintain the elasticity of the wave.
• The Rinse: Rinse with cool water to seal the cuticles, locking in the natural luster and moisture.

III. Thermal Styling & Protection

• Heat Defense: Always apply a professional-grade heat protectant before using thermal tools.
• Optimal Temperature: Do not exceed 380°F (190°C). While our 11A hair is highly resilient, excessive heat can reduce the longevity of the fibers over several years.
• Air-Drying: Whenever possible, allow your texture to air-dry to preserve its natural moisture balance.

IV. The Nocturnal Ritual

• Secure the Silhouette: Before sleep, loosely braid or wrap your hair to prevent friction and tangling.
• Silk Preservation: We strictly recommend sleeping on a 100% Mulberry silk pillowcase or using a silk bonnet. This prevents moisture depletion and maintains the "Noir Silk" glass-like finish.

V. Long-term Storage

When your texture is not in use, store it in the signature Noir Blanc magnetic keepsake box. Ensure the hair is completely dry, clean, and stored within the hand-sewn satin dust bag to protect it from dust and environmental stressors.
